About the painting:
This piece was originally painted as part of a deeply personal series inspired by my husband’s childhood home in Central California. Cooper and I decided to turn these paintings into prints so others could bring a little bit of that magic into their homes, too.
For Christmas, I painted three scenes from the place he grew up—this oak tree being one of them, standing quietly in the backyard of his home in Atascadero. We call it “The Memory Tree.” It was a place where imaginations ran wild, laughter echoed, and a place where so much of his childhood unfolded.
To me, this tree represents two things: the warmth of those memories, and the quiet sting of growing up and leaving parts of that behind. I think a lot of us have something like that—a place that holds both the sweetness of where we’ve been and a little bit of the ache of what’s changed.

Paper:
We make our fine art reproductions on 100% cotton paper with a cold press watercolor texture. Prints include a white oval border shown in the example images.
Shipping:
Print will be wrapped in a clear cello sleeve and mailed in a rigid mailer. Please allow me 3-7 days to drop your order at the post office.
Customization:
If the size you want is not listed am happy to create custom sizes for you. If you’d like to put these in oval frames feel free to reach out with the exact inside measurements of your frame and I will make a custom oval print for you (you will just need to cut it out).
